Santanu Ganguly have an academic background in quantum machine learning (QML), mathematics, astrophysics and silicon photonics and works in the fields of Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, AI/ML, Cybersecurity and Quantum Communication. He has held several senior-level positions at various Silicon Valley vendors and European ISPs. Santanu is currently an advisor for stealth mode quantum startups. He has been an invited speaker and panel member at several AI and Quantum conferences, such as WAICF – World AI Cannes Festival 2024, IQT and Quantum.Tech. He was an invited speaker for February 2024 session at the Quantum FinTech series at the Rethinc.Lab governed jointly by Duke University, NCSU and UNC. He is a member of The Responsible AI Institute. Santanu collaborates with the Intelligent Secure Cyber Systems and Applications Research (ISCAR) Lab, Cleveland State University on research in Quantum Machine Learning and co-authored the following recent paper: “Design of Quantum Machine Learning Course for a Computer Science Program.” 2023 IEEE International Conference on Quantum Computing and Engineering (QCE) 03 (2023): 68-77.
Santanu is the author of the 2021 book “Quantum Machine Learning: An Applied Approach”, published by Apress (Springer nature). He is also a reviewer of several books such as “Financial Modelling Using Quantum Computing”, Packt (2023) and “Quantum Machine Learning with Python”, Apress (2021). Santanu is a regular reviewer of research papers in AI and quantum domain and has authored patents in those areas.
